A new bird portrait finished! Another reduction linoleum print with 10 (!) color layers. It is the 6th of a series of bird portraits I am currently working on. This portrait is inspired by the Great tit and I couldn’t have imagined upfront this would be the one with the most colour layers so far. To make the plumage of the body lively, I had to work very accurately with the transparency of the colours.
