A new bird has landed! Meet my latest bird portrait: a kingfisher. I am over the moon showing you this lino print, I am so very happy and proud how this one turned out and personally think it is the prettiest I’ve made in this series so far. With its striking colors and beautiful details,…

I am very happy to share this new bird portrait! It is a reduction linocut inspired by the Greenfinch. Printing this portrait involved 21 layers of color, which was quite a challenge. Due to their transparency, yellow and bright green hues are generally not the easiest colors to print. This makes the sequence of ink…

While creating my bird portraits, I began to regret I wasn’t able to adjust certain species to the series. It was simply due to a practical obstacle: the length of their beaks meant they didn’t fit the series’ square format… So, this is a slight departure from that standard layout: the height of this print…

This bird portrait is inspired by the Firecrest and I am over the moon how this teeny tiny songbird turned out. It’s the 21st portrait in my bird series. I wanted to make a Firecrest for quite a while but to be honest, I was dreading it a bit. There were 21 colour layers printed.…

This portrait is inspired by the Chaffinch. I have wanted to make this bird for a while and I am really happy to add it to the series. It was most certainly not easy to make this one. Nineteen colour layers were printed for this reduction linoleum print. It is the 20th addition to my…

Here’s the finished new linoleum print, the 19th addition to my bird portraits series. This portrait is inspired by the Blue jay. It’s a reduction linoleum print with 14 colour layers. And I just love the colour palette of this one, I’m a true fan of blue. I printed the last 3 colors simultaneously, which was…

I made this design longing for spring, my favorite season of the year. The four-leaf clover is often seen as a lucky charm. The four leaves are symbolizing hope (faith), trust, love, and luck, making it an all-encompassing symbol of positivity. There are 13 colour layers printed for this small limited edition of only 14 prints.…

A finished new bird portrait! Happy and proud to show you this Blackbird! It’s the 18th portrait in my bird series. I received many requests for a blackbird while creating this series, and I was really looking forward to making one, but it cost me a lot of headaches along the way. There were 13…

Just finished these new reduction linoleum prints! I made 2 colour versions of this larger size lino piece, a pink/purple colour scheme and a green/ purple one, which is not the usual colour style for me to work with but I like a lot actually. They are limited edition print runs. Each print is individually…
