Happy to show you this finished new bird portrait! It’s a reduction linoleum print with 14 (!) colour layers. It’s the 11th of this series of bird portraits I’m working on. This one has the most number of layers of all the birds I made so far. The portrait is inspired by the Wheatear and I really love the colour palette of this beautiful bird. I do mix all colors myself and I had to make a lot of color tests to achieve these vibrancy and shades working well together.
