New year, new bird: I’m so excited to show you this finished new linoleum reduction print bird portrait! For this Robin I printed 14 (!) color layers. Happy and proud to add this one to the series of bird portraits. It was definitely the most challenging to make, it took me endless color mixing and testing between layers… It’s a limited edition, for each color layer I cut more linoleum from the same block of linoleum. Each color has to dry for at least 24 hours between printing layers, depending on the weather and color. The weather wasn’t cooperative this time of year: too cold for printing some days and difficult light for photographing and filming.
